As we near the Tishrei holidays, the expenses start pilling up. For families that struggle even during the rest of the year, holidays are time of extra financial stress. How it Works

We work together with Tova Uvrach / Kupat Rebbe Laib. They issue a temporary credit card for each family with the amount we gave plus the two thirds that they are adding on their end. Each family can then use the ‘Hemish Card’ in a number of preselected food and clothing stores. This insures the money will be used only for necessary food and clothing purchases and that triple the donated amount will be given in your merit.

Yesod Yosef

Yesod Yosef was created in 2004 with goal of establishing a Tzedaka fund where 100% of donations made would go directly to poor families. There would be no fundraiser commissions, salaries or administration fees.  Every penny donated (other than what is lost in the withdrawal and exchange to shekalim) is distributed. Since its start B”H we have kept the above, all work was done by volunteers and all external expenses were covered by private donors.
