B”H Yesod Yosef distributed Shabbos assistance to 17 poor families. A Mishna Learning Program was brokered for one individual.
Prayers by the Tzadikim
Donors were prayed for by the Kivarim of the holy Binayahu ben Yehoyada, Rebbe Dosa Ben Hurkanus and Binyamin HaTzadik.
This is aside from the name lists that are given along with each distribution and are likely to be mentioned by our recipients at many other Kivrei Tzadikim.
Weekly Tzedaka Torah
Rather one must give with a happy countenance, and share in the other person’s suffering as it is written “whether I did not weep for one who had a difficult time, or whether my soul was [not] grieved for the needy” (Iyov 30:25) and you shall speak words of consolation to him as it is written “and I would make the widow’s heart sing for joy” (Iyov 29:13)
