B”H Yesod Yosef distributed Shabbos assistance to 19 poor families. A Mishna learning program was brokered for one individual.
Prayers by the Tzadikim
Donors were prayed for by the Kivarim of the holy Rebbe Yisroel Karduner, Hillel Hazaken, Binayahu Ben Yehoyada, Rebbe Dosa ben Hurkonus, Binyamin HaTzadik.
This is aside from the name lists that are given along with each distribution and are likely to be mentioned by our recipients at many other Kivrei Tzadikim.
Weekly Tzedaka Torah
How much do you give to a poor person? whatever he is missing. This is referring to a pauper who gets supported in a hidden manner. The people of his city need to give him whatever he is missing from before he became poor. However a pauper who collects at peoples doors, you give him a minor amount according to his stature. In the very least in each city he should be given bread and food for two meals and a place to sleep.
