Weekly Yesod Yosef Summery
B”H Yesod Yosef distributed Shabbos assistance to 14 poor families. Help was given to purchase pairs of Tefillin for two Bar Mitzvah boys under the Mazal Tov Support Program. One individual was assisted under the Financial Recovery Program.
Prayers by the Tzadikim
Donors were prayed for by the Kivarim of Rebbe Dosa ben Hurkonus, Binayahu ben Yehoyada and Binyamin HaTzadik.
This is aside from the name lists that are given along with each distribution and are likely to be mentioned by our recipients at many other Kivrei Tzadikim.
Weekly Tzedaka Torah
“When a man moves to a city, he should send meat to the poor of that city, and through this he will find favor in the eyes of the city officials.”
Sefer Hamidos, Tzedaka B 18
We see here another usage of Tzedaka.
