Weekly Yesod Yosef Summery
B”H Yesod Yosef distributed Shabbos assistance to 15 poor families. One family was assisted under the Crisis Rescue Program. Three loans were granted under the Yesod Yosef Loan Gemach. Monthly tuition was paid for 2 kids under the Tuition Scholarship program.
Prayers by the Tzadikim
Donors were prayed for by the Kivarim of Rebbe Dosa ben Hurkanus, Binyahu ben Yehoyada and Binyamin HaTzadik.
This is aside from the name lists that are given along with each distribution and are likely to be mentioned by our recipients at many other Kivrei Tzadikim.
Weekly Tzedaka Torah
“Give charity while you still have (the opportunity; that you) found [a befitting recipient], and you have [the money to give], and you are still in your own hands. ”
Sefer Hamidos, Tzedaka 59
We see here that you should not delay giving of Tzedaka if you have the ability to and a good opportunity as that might not be the case at a later time.
